Pyrrha designers Danielle Wilmore and Wade Papin have been creating jewelry using time-honored, old world techniques from their Vancouver studio since 1995. Pyrrha's signature talismans have become some of the most recognized and coveted jewelry by editors, style icons, and celebrities worldwide. Handcrafted from start to finish, Pyrrha's jewelry reflects the processes and people that craft it, proudly bearing the maker's hand.
As a carbon-neutral certified B Corp, (one of only 20 worldwide in the jewelry industry), we are committed to environmental responsibility, accountability, and leadership in the creation of our jewelry. In an industry where sustainability is not commonplace, we make every effort to reduce our footprint by being conscious in all stages of in-house production.
Our bright and spacious studio is located in centrally located Mount Pleasant and a large portion of our staff bike, take transit or walk to work. We have locally grown organic food delivered every week for our team and through our growing recycling and composting program, we are on our way to becoming a zero-waste company.

Pyrrha is seeking an ambitious individual with a positive attitude and a love of sustainability for our busy jewelry production studio. As a carbon neutral certified B Corp, and member of both 1% for the planet and the Responsible Jewellery Council, the health and well-being of our employees is of utmost importance to us. Our ideal candidate will have a friendly and energetic personality, with the ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision. Jewelry production experience, specifically working with molds, spruing wax models, finishing and polishing metal castings, or experience with investment and induction casting is an asset.
Studio hours are 8 am – 4 pm, Monday to Friday. This is a full-time, hourly position.

Pyrrha is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented SR Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, accounting, and finance along with a flexible and can-do attitude. The SR Accountant/Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing our company's financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Studio hours are 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday. This is a full-time, onsite position.

Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly
Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
Monitor cash flow and prepare cash forecasts as needed
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Work closely with management to provide financial analysis and insights as needed
Perform other related duties as assigned
QuickBooks administration
Other related duties as assigned
Skills and Assets:
At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
Strong knowledge of accounting principles
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Extensive QuickBooks experience
Previous experience working with small – mid-size businesses
AR and AP experience
Team player, but can work independently
